“Members Only” addition
This is your opportunity to work with other farriers and continue your education. We are not going to dictate a long drawn out program to follow. You may want to ride with a farrier a few weeks who shoes an event or breed of horse you are interested in but not within your area. You may just need more confidence after you graduate from school. Many times, these Mentor farriers have an overload of customers and would be willing to share the work. There is always something to learn !
We have 26 years of seasoned self-employed business owners to choose from.
We receive calls and make calls within our membership often to connect farriers together with a personal approach, putting in many work hours.
With this new “Members Only” section, we want YOU to make up your own ad, submit it and get the feed-back.
Of course, if you are riding down the road and call our office, we will continue to type it up and submit it for you.
Actually, the best way to meet members is to …..ATTEND conventions !

Need an Apprentice
Choosing a BWFA farrier can help you out for a week at a busy show location; you may be hurt and need a fill in. Tell us what you need. Your Location, certification level, what level of farrier you need to help, will they just pull and finish or will they be able to hone their forge skills and horsemanship with a variety of the event or breeds you specialize in, etc. with contact information.
Seeking an Apprenticeship
We trust that you studied hard and passed your BWFA certification test with eagerness to learn more and upgrade your status. Your beginning education is just that….the beginning…there is so much more to learn. A BWFA farrier knows what another BWFA farrier should be capable of. Fill in the blanks requested in your own words whether you need more hands on experience or are looking to relocate.
