Loop Knife from Farrier Product Distribution by Marcus J Pierce
Wow have y'all tried the new Loop Knife from Farrier Product Distribution (FPD)? It’s a Bloom Forge Knife that has to be the best I have seen yet. It is hardened carbon steel that will last a very long time. Handcrafted, you can just look and tell, and the handle is real nice almost too nice to get dirt on it. The knife works GREAT. They have it set just right to get in the hard places without making a mess. The good people up in Shelbyville, KY have a winner up there if you get a chance pick one up and you will love it. I got mine from Randy Cribb at Pierce Farrier Supply. Randy is always helpful in showing you the new products that come in.
The New Bellota Razor rasp was quite a surprise, when I first picked it up; I said, ok, I will try it. I was not expecting it to be all that different from all the other rasps. But it turned out to be a real fine rasp that stays sharp even in some dirty feet. It cleans itself better than any rasp that I have ever used. I just keep using it horse after horse, long after the numbers of horses I got from other rasps. This one was still going strong.
I have a real hard week coming up and the rain is coming back, that means wet feet. I will tell you later how long this rasp will go; right now I am not sure.

Next Day- Today I used that rasp on the muddiest feet that I have ever seen just to give it a try, and see what it is made of. I am still using it. WOW.
